Autumn

Autumn conjures up obvious orange tones, gold, saffron, fire, rust, ochres, reddish brown, stronger reds, burgundy, lilac, violet and even purples into the mix, and also a warm mustard level which looks vibrant against the pinky-purples. #EnergyColor#Fall #FavColors

“RED ARMADILLO”, “GOLDEN CAVE”, “WINE HARVEST”, “LILAC EDGE”, “RED BERRIES”, “UNIQUE RASPBERRY ARMADILLO”, “CIRCUS ELEPHANT” , “SILVER TRACE, PINK”, “ROOT CHAKRA”, “WINE HARVEST”, “GARNET BEAD”, “MAPLE SYRUP AMBER”, “DOLCE”.  All give a golden glow that beautifully complements the rich reds and raspberries of the principal beads.

However, it is the contrast between the pinks and orange-reds that give this bracelet design its simmering energy.  This composition feels like a heat wave… think bougainvillea trailing across a terracotta wall… think hibiscus blossoming in the tropics…

The variety of red tones bridges the wide range of reds in this design, from the brilliant “Red Armadillo” to the deep claret of the “Garnet Bead”.  Beads such as this one, and its multi toned neighbour,  “Lilac Edge” are keystones for giving cohesion to the overall design.

Samanta

Samanta, from the Sanskrit word meaning "universal, universally extending, connected at the edges, adjacent, neighbouring, complete, entire or all around." For example, in Buddhism Samanta Bhadra or Samantabhadra means, the“Universal Sage”. Samantha can be interpreted as a variant spelling. Most probably a feminine form of Samuel, possibly influenced by Anthea, from Ancient Greek ἄνθη (ánthē, “blossom”): the epithet of the Greek goddess Hera and also the Anagram for Athena. Athena - Goddess of wisdom, poetry, art, and the strategic side of war. Athenea, Athene, Antha, Anthia, Athina, Atina, Anta.

The root "SAM-" means "drug" or "poison"-- Ancient hebrews employed the word 'sam' for referring to something that was known to cause life or death. And witches (wicces) (wicce, an olde-english word that means “wise") had a similar dual knowledge about plants, herbs and foods.

↠ Sam- The Afroasiatic and Semitic root sam- "high".  A more general sense of "high" is found in Aramaic, Syriac and Arabic. This is certainly the origin of the old word reported by Strabo to be the in the Greek place-name element sam- found in Samos, Samothrace and other high places.
