Myrine wears traditional Libyan Amazon attire of red snakeskin armor and boots, and carries a python-skin shield in one hand and a sword in the other. (To this day, Morocco is known for its red leather.) Around her waist, supporting a labyris, is the traditional gold, crystal sword-belt – a symbol of virginity. This darkskinned, muscular women is mounted on a powerful horse. The equestrian prowess of the amazons was second to none; the mare was their totem animal. In Armenia, ‘amazon’ means ‘moon woman’ (Daughters of the Moon). Many of the lunar deities have a warrior aspect as maiden, i.e. Artemis, a warrior for animals and nature, a medicine maker, a nurturing spirit. Amazons worshipped Artemis, Goddess of Light and Protector of the Vulnerable."

Homade French Croissants

Sólo algunas ideas .. (hay que suprimir mucha cosa en casa de #lespetitsminotiers, como azúcar glas, mantequilla, nutella, leche ..). Y un video tutorial. Está fácil. Interesa que sea fácil. Quiero decir sencillo, rápido, nada engorroso, pues son recetas para los desayunos de cada día. Incluída la masa (hay un enlace a una receta que es un cachondeo jaja .. si quieres tener entretenido a un tonto, dale la vuelta), que hoy será una preparada que tengo en la nevera, pero que pretende ser casera. Me ha gustado mucho el tutorial. El detalle de untar con una mezcla de agua y azúcar (50ml agua templada/ 1cs azúcar) o miel o mermelada, también. Y quizá, el relleno con un cuadradito de chocolate negro bio. Para la masa o "plastón", las recetas de petitchef para masa de hojaldre y croissants.

Voilà! El resultado no está mal. Sin embargo, no estoy nada contenta con la masa de hojaldre que he comprado, pero de todos modos no voy a usarla más, puesto que la idea es preparar la masa en casa. Estos croissants han estado 40 minutos escasos horneándose por arriba y por abajo a 170℃ (altura baja). Los he rellenado con algo de chocolate negro bio que quedaba en un cajón de la cocina .. que, por otro lado, estaba en construcción y parece que se reanudan las obras!

I don't know if you know that I was born a Påskkärring (in 1977, the Vernal Full Moon, which is the first Full Moon after the Spring Equinox, was on April 4. That day is Ostara, a lunar holiday when we witches celebrate the return of the Spring Goddess, who re-emerges at dawn that day like the brightest star in the sky (Eostre, Venus, Persephone, Proserpina) and lands on the ground at night), an Easter (Good) Witch (#brujadepascua #easterwitch) galoring with fun and food. These witches don't look quite like our Halloween witches -- no peaked hats or black capes. Instead, these little witches look like Baba Yaga straight out of a Russian fairy tale, with headscarves, kerchiefs, aprons, colorful skirts and rosy cheeks. She does ride a broomstick though, and is usually accompanied by her cat. And lore tells us that witches travel to Blåkulla("Blue hill" or "hall") in the 'otherworld' every Easter. And that, in their return, they could get trapped in the chimneys through which they tried to reach homes from behind the house hearth, where they left their shoes concealed.

Los Elementos Hablan de la Påskkärring, son los trazos que la representan, los ingredientes que le infunden vida, su Alquimia. La banqueta junto al fuego, el cesto de frutas, vegetales y huevos, el caldero, el mortero, el fuego, los zapatos en el hueco de la chimenea, la chimenea, la bruja en su escoba, donde cuelga su caldero de cobre o su tetera, su pelo al viento... Me falta la luna llena de fondo, y añadir, como elemento de hogar junto al caldero y el mortero al lado y lado del fuego (la casa medieval en Basalú), el perro/PEK (calendario Maya, 4 de abril) frente a la hoguera.

Hablo de Tarot, y me preguntan si leo las cartas... Hubo una vez, hace mucho tiempo, en que solía hacerlo .. Recuerdo muy bien los Arcanos, la Rueda .. Pero para mí Tarot hace ya más tiempo aún que es un Lenguaje Antiguo, Simbólico, Alquimista y Mágico .. Tarot es un espejo, un camaleón .. Tengo planes de confeccionar mi propia baraja de Tarot. Ya tengo el esbozo de la carta de la Estrella, y está llena de símbolos con los que trabajo en el universo de mi mundo interior )O(

Bizcocho de calabaza

Ingredientes:

- Cuatro huevos medianos

- Panela, 175 gramos (si usamos confitura* de calabaza de temporada, ya incorpora azúcar al cincuenta por ciento: estaríamos añadiendo a la mezcla los 125g de azúcar que contienen los 250g de confitura de calabaza de temporada; si usamos puré o compota de calabaza para la receta, puesto que consiste en cocer la fruta o la hortaliza troceadas en agua sin azúcar, entonces sí añadimos azúcar o bien panela, que yo prefiero)

- Aceite de girasol, 100 ml

- Un yogur natural (opcional) (le aporta cremosidad al bizcocho)

- Puré de calabaza (o confitura* de temporada :) 250 gramos

- Harina, 1/4 de kilo

- Levadura (baking powder o polvo de hornear) (también levadura para panadería y bollería), medio sobre.

Punto "letra"

Usar el aceite de girasol y la harina para untar el molde.

Horno precalentado. Hornear 30 minutos a 180-200℃ a media altura con calor por arriba y por abajo. Desmoldar sobre la rejilla, donde habremos colocado una hoja de papel vegetal. Cubrir la tarta con film transparente para que no pierda humedad, pues se resecaría.

- Tools: Bol. Batidor. Medidor. Cuchara. Báscula. Colador. Molde. Pincel. Espátula.

Difícil a esta hora de la tarde captar el color real de esta tarta de calabaza :)

Bueno, es el desayuno de mañana y pasado mañana .. (a veces ha caído un trocito para merendar, pero hoy no). Estoy muy orgullosa de mi tarta. Es de propia creación. Con esta receta he suprimido la panela (azúcar). Espero que esté muy rica. Me da la impresión desde que la estaba haciendo que sí. En su temporada aún será más artesana, porque tengo muchas ganas de hacer confitura de calabaza. Las cosas llegan a su debido tiempo.. they are never late, nor are they early, they arrive precisely when they mean to ;)

She created the first man out of clay (adamah = the female soil). She confected seven mother-vessels for women and seven for men. « The shapes of humanity are formed by Aruru » as say the Assyrians.

The biblic story of god creating Adam out of clay is just a plagiat of ancient texts with a masculinisation of the Godess. The mesopotamian idea that flesh equals clay originates from the matriarchy of earliest times when all pottery was women's work. The god of the bible couldn't bear – so he copied the second-best method of creation by moulding his first man out of clay like the Godess had done bevor him.

Bakery house with oven or pottery house with kiln? On ancient connection between bakery and pottery, both been traditionally women's work by the fire.

Fornax’s themes are home and love.  Her symbols are stoves, fire and wheat.  In Rome, Fornax guided the baking of bread, which, being the proverbial staff of life, was no small matter. Today Fornax still stands ready to watch over our hearths, as the Goddess of the oven, which is the true heart of any home. If her fires go out, folklore says, warmth among the home’s occupants dwindles soon thereafter.

Fornacalia was the Roman festival of ovens, in which Fornax was invoked by baking wheat breads and other grain-related foods. The name Fornax is connected with the modern English word “furnace” as well as the modern Italian word forno, which you’ll often see on bakeries*. Fornax was both the name of the oven, kiln or furnace and the name of the personification of these pieces of equipment that were, and are, so fundamentally important for baking bread, cooking, heating, metal working and pottery.
