Moon in Libra

Moon in Libra #goddess #lunarcalendar #moonsign

Diplomatic, aesthetical, avoiding confrontation, understanding and attentive. Likes to spend time with the partner, hates situations that require to make a choice.

The sign occupied by the Moon at your time of birth is an indicator of your emotional and physical nature. It describes your unconscious, instinctive reactions, what is innate, perhaps inherited from your mother or reflected in the feminine dimension of your life. It tells us what kind of experience you need in order to feel emotionally satisfied.

Libra is one of the air signs, signs of the mind and of communication. With the Moon in this sign, your primary need is that of harmonious relationships, not just with people but between all things in your environment. You will literally feel very uncomfortable when faced with ugliness and discordance on any level, whether it be a bad atmosphere between people, clashing colour schemes or pictures hanging crookedly on a wall! You’ve just got to get in there and sort it out, using your innate charm, your diplomatic skills and your undoubtedly well developed aesthetic sense. You have a natural sense of fairness and proportion, being able to assess relationship with an acute sensitivity and this good taste inclines you towards a fine appreciation of music, literature and the fine arts.

You’re a pleasure to be with, a seemingly easy going companion. “peace at any price” is your motto – the trouble is that you often put up and shut up too often, for fear of upsetting the applecart and causing a row, with the result that you end up feeling ignored, used and abused! But it is through your social relationships that you will find the opportunities to get your needs fulfilled, in your case it is definitely a case of who rather than what you know mattering. Being in a relationship of some sort is vital to your emotional well being. You can find decision making very difficult if you have no one to bounce your ideas and feelings off and you really do not like the feeling of emptiness or purposelessness that creeps upon you if you have no partner. Concern for the other is a strong motivation in you and when you come across injustice, your fighting spirit is well and truly aroused. In fact you find it easier to be assertive on behalf of another person or a cause like fair trade, than you do on behalf of yourself.

Moon in Libra people have a strong need for partnership. Without someone to share their lives with, they feel utterly incomplete. This is why many people with this position get involved in marriages or living-together arrangements quite young.Because this drive for harmony, peace, and sharing is so powerful, Lunar Librans are apt to do a lot of conceding. They are sympathetic and concerned for others, enjoy socializing, and revel in a good debate. Mental rapport with others is especially important to them.

Lunar Librans feel safe and secure when they are in a partnership. These are the people who seem to always need to have someone tag along with them wherever they go even if it is to the corner store. They find strength and reinforcement in and through others.

Both men and women with this position are often quite charming. They can be very attractive to be around, and are often given to flirtatiousness. Rarely directly aggressive, these people win your heart with their gentle and refined ways.

Moon in Libra natives simply can’t help but see flaws in their environment and their relationships. In fact, anything out of whack will bother them until it’s fixed. Although diplomatic with acquaintances, when Moon in Libra natives argue with their long-standing partners, they rarely let up until they win. And, winning an argument is a Libran specialty in fact, they may not even believe what they are saying, but will adopt all kinds of ideas just to get the last word. Living with Lunar Librans can sometimes feel like you are on trial, and Libra is the expert lawyer. Sometimes, though, Libra is defending you and supporting your point of view.

Lunar Librans’ idealistic outlook and constant striving for the best, most harmonious lifestyle can lead to much discontent. Looking for that one (elusive) perfect way to lead their lives can detract from enjoyment of the moment.

Fox. A storyteller at heart!•´*¨`*•✿ March 18 - April 14
The fox sign is amazingly cunning and knows how to work a room with sl
y, sexy humor. Full of guile, vigor and bright intelligence the fox is an untamable force. They love to take exotic vacations and indulge in adventures, they will wind your ways into amazing experiences. They have a knack for story telling, and every experience is fodder for their tales. They are tender-hearted, although they don't show that soft side too often because they're too busy playing and cracking jokes. However, they aren't shy about showing their loyalty; if you are the friend of the fox, you have a friend for life. Highly energetic and courageous, the fox has an indomitable spirit.http://www.whats-your-sign.com/celtic-animal-signs.html

Alder: The Trailblazer.

Alders are charismatic, strong, focused trailblazers who have a magnetic personality that draws people toward them. They know the path they’re meant to travel and charge forward with such determination and unfaltering faith tha
t it inspires others to follow their lead.

One thing they hate is wasting time and deliberating. Alders are self-assured and can’t live with procrastination and indecision. They have a way with words that makes them highly intriguing and desirable characters, and although they are happy to walk the road alone, they are often found leading a tribe of other curious and confident adventurers.

This sign is often the one that people turn to when they need a shoulder to cry on, as they are amazing listeners and know the right thing to say at the right time to help soothe troubles and ease distress. Alders also have an intense connection with water, which means they are emotional creatures with depth that others are often afraid to dive into.

Full Moon of Fearn (Alder), Ruled by Persephone. The Alder Moon heralds the coming of Spring when the maiden-goddess is reborn. Alder trees grow where there is water.. Alder's connection with Water and the Fae make it a psychically potent tree. The Alder tree is connected with water and the powers of fire. Alder has the gift of not decaying in water, so it is used to make bridges, and is connected with the ability to withstand the corrosive effects of water, symbolizing how the waters of winter recede as the energies of fire swell. Wood from the Alder is used in the making of charcoal, and her wood has apparently been used since ancient time to summon spirits from the Otherworld. In Finnish the word for alder is derived from a word meaning “blood,” which refers to the red sap the tree oozes when cut. Red pigment from the bark was once used as a dye and a face paint. The Alder is deemed a most sacred tree having her own otherworld connection to magic and fairies, being a gateway to the Fae, and bridging two worlds. It is believed that Alder is the secret doorway used by the fae to pass from one realm to another. Alder holds a sacred space of intermediality and in-between, as the boundary between worlds in rites of passage and liminality.

The Alder can represent...
Defence and Protection
Psychic Abilities
Pioneering Spirit
Strength
Faerie Contact
Spiritual Vision
Blending of Masculine & Feminine energies
Balance

Fern safeguards the bearer from malicious energies, bears the energy of alchemical transformation and renews the spirit.

Animals associated with the Alder Moon are Foxes, Bears and the Falcon.

As the Alder Moon is at the time of the equinox and spring, it's also known as the Seed Moon and the Growing Moon for obvious reasons.

All magic to do with creative projects, new starts, fertility, balance and harmony are good to focus on at this time.

The full Libra Moon is sailing in the night sky in celebration of the Alder. The Moon is dependent upon her own wisdom to figure out the challenge of the conflicting energies that the Aries/Libra split represents, and that strength comes from a place set between polarities. Aries is the spark of the new, and is concerned with the necessity to exist, to survive all challenges to identity and self. Mars, the warrior famous for his bravado, is the ruler of Aries, urging action and speed. Libra is ruled by the planet Venus, suggesting you will have natural talents where other people are concerned. You are likely to be charming, intelligent, witty and gracious, a ready go-between. At your best, you will have an instinctive desire to bring out the best in others, and can smooth over any difficulty in a social situation. Your peace-making qualities may mean you become involved in situations where inequity is an issue, having a need to take action so that principles of fairness and justice are upheld. Conflict may surround you, but when you assert your need to be fair, you show others how to find the middle-ground. The Moon in Libra needs charming surroundings at home. Not anything gaudy or showy - that would be more Leo. Just charming, artistic and in good taste - Remember that little elegant touches appeal to someone with a Libra Moon, small touches will activate their emotions. Born with the Moon in Libra, you are likely to have a deep need for peace and harmony in your life. Libra is known as an Air sign, governing communication, the exchange of information or ideas, and the protocols around which relationship occurs. Accordingly, you may find that you have an innate need to connect with the world around you, and may have a talent for creating rapport with others. Libra is also a Cardinal sign, highlighting the need to act. The action required is whatever is needed to restore balance. Libra is symbolized by the Scales. This need for balance and harmony in your life extends from your personal environment to your social life, and all the relationships you have with others. This is the full Moon after the spring Equinox. For many, this is the beginning of new year, as it also the new year of the astrological year. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, this is the approach of a new growing season. What has been lying in the ground or stored as seed from the last harvest is sprouting and pushing aside resistance. This is the full Moon of Passover, when the story begins again. The story is of freedom, an end to slavery with many reminders that justice belongs to all. She is the scale upon which justice is measured. Libra is the sign most associated with marriage. Marriage with its privileges and responsibilities, an alchemical blending of masculine & feminine energies. The Justice card in Tarot represents Libra, and illustrates the power of balance, and the rather fierce aspect of Libra.

The “fire” zodiac signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) will have naturally the “fire chakra” (the navel chakra) quite active in their structure – this will make them very powerful and confident beings. #AriesSunsign
And the “air” zodiac signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) will have naturally the “air chakra” (the heart chakra) quite active in their structure – this will make them spontaneously open to others and with a natural sense of communication. #LibraMoonsign
On her breast and around Freya's beautiful neck, she wears "the jewel whose power cannot be resisted", the magical Brisingamen necklace.
Brisingamen ("flaming, glowing") represents the power of the goddess of Love, Life and War to revitalize nature, passion to everything that makes your heart sing, inner and physical strength, the ability to protect and fight for your rights and those of others and the power of love and all strong emotions. For me, it emcompasses a wider chakra, one comprising the solar plexus and the heart.

Dawn-goddesses were frequently warlike, arising each morning to battle with things of the Night such as Eos single-handedly chased out of the sky. Ovid among others called Eos the "Saffron mother," & many ancient poets allude to her rosy-red (saffron-dyed) fingers. She arrived on the earth each morning in a war-chariot drawn by bright roan horses. The Dionysiaca calls her "Farshooting Eos" since she is a mistress of archery.
