Harvest

Witches have different ways to express their Art... #wildernessfelt

Just sorting a new Jacob fleece before washing.... Can't believe how much woolinissity you get from one sheep...and there was also a huge bag that I've discarded from it...hoping for a sunny day tomorrow to dry it once cleaned :)

Large hare in the making!

 Nosey!

Coming to life slowly :)

He's big... joining everything together... Then he needs fattening up :)

Getting there... I think I've nearly put a whole sheep fleece in him... he's a hungry boy!
 Floppy ear!

Still needs a tail and tweeking :)

Here is lovely "Harvest".....he's named after the September full moon, it just seemed to suit him very well. He measures 12" inches from paw to the top of his head and then his ears on top of that measure another 6". Made with TLC and lots of Herdwick, Castlemilk Moorit & Jacob fleece with a small amount of Merino in his eyes and ears and a tiny splash of silk in his eyes also for that mischievious twinkle! He's made completely by needle felting using very fine barbed needles...there's no stuffing inside him, he's been sculpted entirely with felting needles and washed fleece. There is also no wire inside him - I prefer not to use wire, he's very solid and sturdy and has very lovely strokable floppy ears.
